Ujjayi: Part I


Even when we feel not so much.

I’ve had a post churning in my noggin for the past few weeks, and I finally have a free evening. Just to help you visualize the current scene, my scruffy and slightly smelly dog is passed out at the foot of the bed, more than likely to come curl up at the head after I fall asleep, “My Way” by Fetty Wap is playing in the background, and I’ve finally turned off this loud window unit my landlord viewed as an acceptable alternative to fixing our air conditioner. Chats over Tea and Club Crackers

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. So, here I am, with my bible,  a gallon of Milo’s Sweet Tea, and a box of Club Crackers on my bed. It’s ok to drink straight from the jug of tea because it saves the amount of cups you have to wash. I got in from the barn about 10pm tonight, and I just couldn’t cook. Plus, crackers and tea sounded like a great option.  I love some salty crackers, and Milo’s is on point. Continue reading

In my room in Auburn, with what little decorating skills I have, I have hung up a chalkboard with a verse written in my very best artsy-esque penmanship a verse from Luke.
